PPCF led the sale process on behalf of the shareholders which resulted in the business being acquired by Pittsburgh-based, S&P400 constituent, Wabtec Corporation. Wabtec Corporation is a $3bn revenue, global provider of equipment, systems and value-added services for transit and freight rail.
Ben Peacock, who led the PPCF team, commented “Melett is a truly international business and the leading premium brand in the turbocharger aftermarket. Having made significant investment in the business and with favourable underlying market dynamics, the shareholders had the full spectrum of value realisation options available to them.
